THANKSGIVING IS FINALLY HERE!!! And I will be exactly thirty weeks pregnant on Thanksgiving Day, so I am ready to enjoy every bit of it by enjoying my favorite family dishes.

This is when being this far along and pregnant during the holidays is AMAZING, because yummy food, you know?!(;

I wanted to share just one of my favorite, easiest side dish on my blog today that way incase you have not quite figured out what side dish you want to make and take to your family’s gathering, you could try this one.

drum role please…. Green bean casserole. YUMMMMM

Ingredients call for:

1 can of french style green beans, 28 oz

2 cans of cream of mushroom, 10.5 oz

1 1/3 cup crispy fried onions

about 1/4 cup of milk

and enough of salt and pepper to your taste.

Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit. Open all cans to pour into glass dish and stir it up. Mix in milk and salt and pepper your dish. Sprinkle 2/3 cups of crispy fried onions on top. Place in the oven for 30 minutes or until casserole is hot, then pull casserole dish out of the oven and top with remaining crispy fried onions and bake for an additional five minutes.

If you are not a big green bean casserole lover or perhaps you just want some more options of what to make and take there is always mashed potatoes, corn casserole, broccoli and cheese casserole, and you can never go wrong with some good pillsbury croissants…
